Eaten in 3 times and had 2 take aways, we don’t have a single bad thing to say about the place or staff. Always prebooked a table and it’s been waiting. Take your own alcohol is a bonus. The take aways are always well packaged and hot. Looking forward to coming again.
Got recommended this place form a lad in work as I normally stick to my usual curry house when I’m up here on business. Thought I’d give it a go, Was a Monday night so thought it would be quiet, the opposite really I’d say it was very busy which I always a good sign. Obligatory table for 1, as a rest always have my usual, see photos (which also shows you their prices) . Starter was very nice, tasty and hot so was the main. If you fancy an alcoholic beverage you need to take your own, not if you get charge corkage, but didn’t bother me as I was on Dry January. All in all very good food, excellent service, will definitely go back at some point t and recommend
As a party of seven we visited The Taj on Saturday evening and had a great experience. All staff were professional, polite and efficient and the restaurant has a nice fresh, minimal ambiance. Excellent choice of dishes, the usual favourites and chef’s specials and all our chosen dishes were well presented, quality ingredients and delicious - just as described on the menu. Will certainly be visiting again and would recommend
Without doubt, my new favourite in Scarborough. Our first time last night was a great experience. The restaurant is beautifully furnished, well decorated and staff presented really well. The menu is good, with all standard fare as well as a good range of special dishes. We went straight for the pop's and pickles, but will certainly try the starters in a future visit. The food was superb, in fact outstanding. I've never had a curry so hot, but so tasty and full of flavour. All in all a very pleasant experience and we'll definitely be back.
Excellent, ordered twice in the same week! Chef made an off menu dish for me, well spiced and well priced. Takeaway comes in nice, recyclable packaging and the portion sizes are big.
